Po’ Girl’s Christmas Ideas

You don’t have to purchase special Christmas decor for the mantle or buffet. I usually try to set up a centerpiece of some kind so I can place some of the smaller gifts around it in a decorative fashion. Looks all Christmassy until the gifts are given out, then who cares?  This is great to do if you don’t want to go to the trouble, expense or have the room for a full size tree.

Taste of Tecumseh Michigan in the Fall

Ventured to Tecumseh Michigan last weekend in search of early fall colors in the countryside nearby. The lovely little city is hosting their annual Appleumpkin Festival this weekend, October 13th & 14th. For more information go to www.downtowntecumseh.com/downtown/appleumpkin.htm.

I love the falling leaves with all the beautiful colors, no matter how fleeting.  I cringe when I see very windy days coming up when checking out the 10 day weather forecast.  I know that one very windy day, can turn the vibrant, ready leaves still on the trees into colorful, moving carpets.
